What You'll Be Doing:

As a principal product marketing manager at Invicti Security, you will report directly to the Director of Product Marketing. You describe yourself as being curious, and regularly dig into documentation and market trends. In this role, you will be responsible for platform and product feature Go-To-Market strategy and execution. You will be jointly responsible for working with cross-functional teams to make Invicti’s products stand out from the competition in the web application security industry. You will be a product evangelist and will play an integral role in organizing product launches.

You know our competitors like the back of your hand: what they do today and what they plan to do in the future. You also know our buyers better than they know themselves, including how they make their buying decisions. This isn’t guesswork. You back up strategic insights with market evidence and then use that knowledge to drive the development of positioning and messaging that resonates with buyers and empowers our sales channels to be successful.

You will collaborate with our marketing team to develop innovative programs that drive demand. An attention to detail and eye for quality are critical to your success, along with an ability to grasp and present our products’ value proposition in a way that resonates and clearly articulates how we solve our buyers’ problems. You are obsessed with tracking performance, and have the data to prove what’s working and what isn’t.

In addition to the marketing team, you will regularly collaborate with product managers and sales channels; it’s a balancing act that requires strong diplomatic skills, including knowing when to push back and when to dive in.

  • Drive GTM strategy and execution to launch products, features, and integrations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Partner in developing a unique value proposition of our products, with a clear understanding of the target markets and buyer personas.
  • Focus on pricing and packaging, including researching competitive pricing, understanding how our prospects and customers prefer to buy the products, collaborating with finance and product management to evaluate various pricing models, etc.
  • Collaborate with the content team to write compelling, high-quality content, both at a business and a technical level
  • Collaborate with the campaign and programs team to execute a marketing strategy that meets or exceeds pipeline, bookings, and conversion targets
  • Effectively work at executing plans that cross different functional groups, including product management, business development, and sales.
  • Participate in the development of sales enablement materials to provide the sales team with strategies and competitive intelligence that increase sales productivity and pipeline conversion

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Engineering, IT, Journalism OR equivalent B2B experience required
  • Minimum of 5-7 years work experience in the security industry, preferably in Application Security Testing and / or cloud security. A background in development technology or working with that persona is a bonus. 
  • Must take an analytical approach and have a track record of distilling technical concepts into consumable information for customers and prospects
  • Experience with product pricing and packaging, particularly in security and/or development tooling 
  • Knowledge of how cloud, agile development and security trends are impacting customers is a plus.
  • Strong communication, time management, writing and project management skills; Highly motivated, collaborative, with a strong attention to detail and commitment to quality preferred
  • Experience working with sales teams, engineering teams, media and industry analysts
  • Must be strong in translating complex technical concepts into compelling messaging for all audiences, including C-level, security teams, DevOps, etc.
